Jetlag is a bitch. Just about over it so here is the report…
Our tour to Bangkok and Hong Kong was amazing… We went over with Subterranea (Canada) and Schkeuditzer Kreuz (Australia)..
first time for us all and everyone loved it there… bloody hot (even when the heavens opened) but thats ok when the food and the people are so good
we also had time to see some of both places… from Temples to markets, to wild monkeys and tame ferries… met up with old friends from Coventry at both places too… even Will Pickin, one of my old college students who had played synth with ATTRITION on the 1997 US and German tours.
The shows went really well too… seemed like it was the first time “Darkwave” had graced their shores….the local bands we played with were also excellent. Hope to play with some of them again.
We are already looking at going back to the far east next year and adding in more countries… Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia perhaps…
Now the west is dieing it is the in place to be…
Thank you so much to everyone that made this happen… Especially Greg (Ceremonial Laptop) in Bangkok, and Nathan, Kawa and Chris (from the The Xevarion Institute) in Hong Kong…
and not to forget Tim Russell for the excellent photos and Jay for the videos in Bangkok…
You are all incredible.
Looking forward to our next adventures…
